Wow!! Can you believe 10 years have passed since we all walked out of
the gates of Girls College in 1995, so much
has happened to all of us
since then. I studied travel and tourism for the year in 1996 and began
working in the July
of 1996 and studying part time. I enjoyed 18 months
in the travel industry before moving into reservations for a game lodge.
In
January 1999 I left SA and au paired in Portland, Oregon in the USA
for 13 months and looked after 2 amazing children.
The experience was
incredible, but I was very happy to be back on South African soil in
March of 2000. I met my husband
Jason in 2000 and we were married in May
2002. Jason was completing his Studies and in February of this passed
his
Board Exam which now qualifies him as a Chartered Accountant. He is
the Group Financial Manager for Kulu Concrete products.
Our
son, Connor was born in March 2003 and then in May 2004 our daughter
Madison was born. We have bought a house just off
Musgrave road as we
were in a flat and living in a flat with two children is not fun.
I am working for myself doing
events co-ordinating and am working on a
very exciting children's expo which will take place in October 2005.
