In 1996 - 1998 I went to PMB University where I completed a BA majoring in Psychology and English. 1999
- presently - I have been living in London, except for 2003 when I lived in Taiwan teaching English. During my stay in
London I have dabbled in many different types of jobs and have managed to do quite a bit of travelling. I became
very interested in desktop publishing for quite a while, where I had the opportunity of co-ordinating cookery, fashion
and travel books. I then decided that I should try my hand at teaching, but even though Taiwan was a brilliant experience,
teaching was not quite for me. I then made my way into the Legal world, for the only reason that the pay is good
for Legal secretaries here in London. Finally, I ended up working for a South African company, Breytenbachs in the centre
of London dealing with visa's for people to stay in the UK. Last year, I then decided that I should follow my original
dream of being a Child Psychologist and am currently studying three Psychology courses in order for me to start my honours
in 2006. Unfortunately I have to repeat my third year in order to do honours, because it has been longer than
5 years since I completed my degree - which is a bit of a pain!! Anyhoo, on a more personal note - I am now living with
my boyfriend, Rick, who is a Management Accountant and Chemical Engineer and his brother Andrew. My Mom is living
in Westville and has never remarried after my Dad was killed in 1997. She is happy and has a very full life selling
houses, running a cookery school, playing golf and bridge and of course still working for Animal Anti Cruelty League.
My brother is currently in Pretoria. Presently I am working at University College London for the Director of Estates
and Facilities. I opted for a 9-5 job in order to pay the bills and be able to concentrate on my studies once again,
and although it is rather pressured, I am enjoying it immensely.
