In 1996 I did two years of radiography at Durban Tech. until deciding to go to UCT to study Physiotherapy.
4 years
later- 2002- I left for the UK and worked for a year and a half around England- mostly in a town called Norwich where I met
my lovely husband Luke.
We moved to California over a year ago and are now living in a little mexican town called
Salinas- Its just about in the middle of San Francisco and Los Angeles.
In January I visited Raffy in Philadelphia. It was just awesome to see her again and catch up. She is doing wonderfully.
I
am working in the hospital of Monterey as a PT. I asked one of my patients - a very lively 98 year old what the secret to
her youth was and she said after describing the beauty of the earth etc and how we should learn to appreciate it etc she said
"You just got to get up and get on with it!"
This picture was taken when we first came to the US and were staying in Oakland near San Francisco. This is looking out
